Tattooed Mama - Jesse from 2littlegirlsandi

Welcome to another Tattooed Mama and Papa interview! lets meet this weeks Tattooed Mama.........................

Tell us about yourself

My name is Jesse, I’m soon to be 30 years old. I am a fun loving sah mummy who lives in Oxfordshire in a gorgeous little village called Uffington.
I have a beautiful family, a very cheeky amazing nearly 3 year old called Matilda Rose, a scrummy little 1 1/2 year old called Bonnie Faith and a extremely tall, dark, handsome, bearded and tattooed man who goes by the name of Seth.
Check out my mummy blog on Instagram called 2littlegirlsandi. Follow me on my adventure as I take on the world with my 2 super cute daughters and my hubby by my side. Oh we also have a stunning mainecoon kitten called Red

How many tattoos do you have?

I have in total 7 tattoos, some teeny tiny and some very large.
* I have a fairy on my left bum cheek
* 4 red hearts behind my left ear.
* start of a girly vintage full sleeve.
* heart on my ring finger.
* daughters names on my thigh.
* whole leg piece full of red roses.
* little pink butterfly on my foot.

What was the first tattoo you got and why did you have it done ?

My first tattoo was.. yep you guessed it.. the cheeky little fairy on my bottom. I was 18 at the time, a little bit crazy and care free and really liked my bottom!!!
I went with a friend who was getting a tattoo done that day and like all good mates she persuaded me to get my first done there and then. So quickly looking through the flash designs I spotted in his cute little fairy and decided yep it’s just got to go on my bottom. No meaning, no real thought, just simply because.. sorry mum.

If you’ve got more than one tattoo which is your favourite and why?

My favourite tattoo was very hard to choose. It was a toss up between my leg piece or my daughters names, they both mean so so much to me.
I choose my 2 little girls names. I had these tattooed on me about a year ago. No matter where my girls end up in their life, who they are with or what they are doing, I will always have them with me. A mother’s love simply never fades and giving birth to the 2 most precious little humans has been and will always be my biggest achievement in my life. Forever will I be thankful to them for calling me mummy.

How do others react to your tattoos?

If I am walking down the street on a hot summers day yes people do stare at my leg and I really don’t mind, I hold my head up and smile.
I do get the odd tut but I also have people stop to admire the amazing artwork. I’m proud of my tattoos and no one will make me think different.

Do you regret any of your tattoos and if so why?

No regrets what so ever...nope not even the fairy!!
My tattoos make me the individual that I am, I enjoy being slightly eccentric and standing out from the crowd.
Tattoos are art, people have made huge decisions to have something permanently put on their body for life and It simply amazes me.

Are you planning on getting anymore tattoos, if yes what are you planning and why?

Currently I only plan to have my sleeve finished, it was started back in 2016 and a week later we found out I was expecting our 2nd baby so we had to put the tattoo addiction on held. It’s going to be a girly vintage design, hand mirror, perfume bottles, lipstick, pearls, just a really stunning piece. I am a bit girly and love all things pretty and womanly, I may not ever have time to do my hair and make up anymore but my sleeve will be a reminder of the woman I am inside.

Is there anything else you’d like to tell us about your tattoos?

Back to the leg piece and why it is so important to me.
It’s how me and Seth met.
He is my tattoo artist ( although he wasn’t lucky enough to do my bum one)
About 6 years ago I walked in to his shop looking to get a tattoo done, there and then he did the pretty hearts behind my ear for me then I booked in to make a start on my leg piece. Little did we know about a  year later ( the tattoo took a fair few sittings) we would fall in love. I fell for him pretty much straight away this hairy tattooed guy was just gorgeous and I had to get to know him. Every sitting we talked for hours and finally just as he had nearly finished the tattoo we became an item. We welcomed our first daughter a year after that and her middle name just had to be rose.
Check out his work, he is a multi award winning artist, you can follow Seth on Instagram and Facebook.

Thank you to Jesse for sharing her tattoos with us, I love the cheeky little heart tattoo she has on her finger.  You can follow Jesse over on Facebook.

Are you a Mama or a Papa with tattoos?! Want to take part in my interview series?!  Then I'd love to hear from you!!
